No they don't
Chips not fresh , salsa is not good no seasoning, chicken cream echaellia not seasoning. Not recommended this place since new ownership took over.
Food was good, chips and salsa aplenty. Seated quickly for it being busy but service was a little slow due to that I suppose. It was also very loud.
Terrible food...!!! no cheese in cream cheese enchiladas barely any sauce??? Beans cold n slapped on the plate... had i not been with a friend that bought the lunch i would have walked out. 😢😔Server was snooty and threw our menus on the table because we asked to be seated in a different booth. The first place She seated us... had us right where everyone walks in.Idk if ownership has changed in the last few years... i know La Paz used to have been a first choice restaurant for me.I will Not be going back for a meal unless they make this right.... DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER 😠
Staff is very friendly. The inside is rather humble and could use some updating. Portions are on the smaller side of average and the food leans toward bland & american-ized rather than authentic. I'd be fine with it if prices were lower but it's a little pricey for what you get.
Food and service was not up to par on this visit. This is usually a 4 star eating establishment.
By far, La Paz is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town! They are always one step ahead of the game. Great food, great atmosphere, great prices. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an authentic meal at a reasonable price!
Flank steak tacos were plentiful, you can taste the charcoal and mildly seasoned with chipotle. All entrees made from scratch. Will be back for these again.
Excellent food and service as always!
We have been coming here for years! We did try the potato chorizo soup today, it was great, make sure to get a bowl if it. You'll regret only getting a cup.
Great service and excellent food! Took care of our large party very well! Thank you!
One of our favorite places to go! The ambiance of the restaurant is great. I absolutely love the chips and salsa they give you while you wait. If you like your salsa more on the spicy side, you can ask for green salsa. The staff has always been great, and they’re very family friendly. Food is delicious, and has plenty of vegetarian options as well (I highly recommend the sizzling fajita). The deserts are sooooo yummy, and so are the drinks. If you haven’t been, you should check it out.
This place is amazing the food is so good we had lunch there and there was no line no one was there
Quality Midwestern Tex-Mex. A family favorite.
Great food, decent service. Salsa was nice with a slight spice kick.
Warm chips, great salsa to start. Fajitas sizzling hot. Great smiling service. Enough for leftover lunch. Will go back soon.
It was very busy when we went, but they were still extremely quick to get us seated and served. Great food and comes with a lot for a decent price.
This used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant but we were disappointed when we went there last Friday. We ordered the Queso as an appetizer, which used to be so delicious and it tasted like they had opened a can of nacho cheese sauce. It tasted like it was from the can. They put black olives and green onions on the top but that did not disguise the fact it came straight from a can. It was $9 for the appetizer and it definitely wasn't worth that. My husband had the Machaca shredded beef burrito which is covered in queso sauce and unfortunately it was the same sauce we were served as an appetizer. Ruined his whole meal. I had the cream cheese chicken enchilada's and they were delicious but it did not take away from the fact that the Queso was not good. Not sure if we will ever be back as that ruined it for us.
Easily the best Mexican food in Lincoln. Chicken crema and cream cheese and chicken enchilada are incredible.
Always great food. The flan dessert is fantastic. Great salsa and chips. Never disappoints!
I had a thumbtack in my food. Honestly I’ve never had an issue before this and our waitress was spectacular. I still had a thumbtack in my mouth (I bit into it) and the situation was not handled with severity . I just hope this will NEVER happen to anyone else
I really like this restaurant! The food was delicious, it was delivered nice and hot in an appropriate amount of time, and our waiter was wonderful!
Excellent food and service...
Service is always great, and the atmosphere is so cozy. Food is delicious. We called ahead this time to make a reservation, and we got a table right away.
The food was great as always. The server was very good, on top. Our favorite Mexican restaurant.
La paz is an amazing local mexican restaurant that is sure to enlighten your taste buds and eating the food makes you 33 percent happier!
By far my #1 all time most favorite to eat at Mexican restaurant! I love coming here and getting the make your own plate as I can choose what I want which is usually the Burrito Royal, Burrito Supreme and the Shredded Beef Flatua. I would venture to guess based on the many times coming here that anything you choose will be a good choice and you won't be disappointed. The chips and salsa are pretty bomb too not to mention the reasonable prices!
Sarah Beth our waitress was amazing and never missed a beat!! I had the cream cheese chicken enchiladas and WOW incredible. So tasty and full of flavor. My husband had the chicken enchiladas and loved them as well!! If you are looking for good authentic Mexican food this is the place to go!!!!! Also make sure you try there desserts!!!
Went in for lunch. Service was excellent! Food was good, as it typically is, but the portions were smaller than I remember them being. Lunch time may have been the reason for that so not a huge deal. The complimentary chips and salsa are some of the best in town, but today the chips had virtually no salt on them so they were kind of bland. One thing that definitely never disappoints was the spicy green salsa (you have to ask for it) that alone deserves 10 stars. Overall a good lunch.
Great food! Always consistent, too! It's my go too for Tex Mex in Lincoln!
Good food and service. My girlfriend is allergic to dairy but really wanted the shredded beef which has a little bit of cheese in it. So our waitress told the manager and he hooked her up with some shredded beef minus the cheese. It made her night!
Chips, salsa, guacamole, and margaritas were good. I got the flank steak tacos and it was too under cooked for me, I sent it back to be cooked more and it was still under cooked. The waitress gladly took it off and I got a ground beef taco. It was average but nothing special.
This has been a long time coming. Passed thru Lincoln last August and stopped for the evening. The host at the Comfort Suites suggested La Paz so being a short stroll across the parking lot we decided to try it. Coming from the Dallas area my expectations for Mexican food are pretty high. This place did not disappoint at all. The house sauce was tasty but I'm use to a little hotter. And they did not disappoint when I asked about something a little hotter. The meal that we had was awesome and very much leaned towards the more traditional side.... tasty. Sara our server was a complete joy. I highly recommend La Plaz for a great meal. Made our stop in Lincoln a memorable one.
Good, fast, friendly service. Prices are very reasonable.
Chips are good.
This is a casual, family-friendly restaurant. Staff is attentive and happy. Atmosphere is upbeat. Food is high-quality goodness! I tried both the salsa (mild, but fresh and well-balanced with rich flavor) and the Chile Verde, which was medium heat but popping with complex mix of flavors. I could not get enough! Chips were fresh, crisp and had the right level of saltiness. My wife had the Steak and Enchilada combo dish. Perfect cut and cook. She was very happy. She got a side of guacamole and we both appreciate the fresh and full flavor that the blended together. I had the Chicken Creama dish. I was worried tgat the chicken would be dry, but to my surprise and joy the chicken was tender and succulent! The cream sauce with jalapeños and onion is to die for! All in all, we are very pleased with our dinner experience. This is a place to come with friends and family and celebrate a joyful meal together.
Standard fair. Decent food for a reasonable price. Good service. Menu choices are fairly traditional Mexican dishes. They were able to accommodate gluten free requests when asked, but that info wasn't available on the menu.
Honestly the best Mexican good I've found since moving to Lincoln. The flavors are very authentic, and the portions are enormous for a reasonable price. I just wish they had an option to make dishes spicier.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. My favorite is the burrito royal and cream cheese chicken enchiladas.
Best black bean soup in town. Friendly service
Great atmosphere, clean, and very friendly staff. Our server was pleasant and efficient. The alcohol was terrible. Could not taste the alcohol in the lime margarita, just sugar and lime juice. Tried the Coyote Cooler cocktail, and it wasn't mixed well. Food was okay, but it was more comparable to Hungry Man's frozen dinner than other Mexican restaurants in town. The only thing that was great was the rice, it had a slight spice and tasted amazing. Overall, it's okay, but very overpriced and therefore disappointing.
Great food and service. Portions are more than generous.
Enchiladas La Paz are the all time best, but everything else on the menu is excellent. If you like heat order some of the salsa verse with your chips!
The food was amazing and we'll worth the short time we had to wait to be seated. The server was extremely helpful and attentive without being intrusive. This visit was one of the most enjoyable nights out I have had in quite some time.
No question that this is my favorite place to eat Mexican food!!!
Cool environment, decent salsa, beef and services. The booths are good for 2 people, but 4 is too tight.
I would recommend Super Taco or El Taqueria over this! Okay food, great service but NOT authentic!
Good food and good service
Not the best Mexican in town. Margaritas were okay, but the food was subpar. Service was young and not super attentive. Atmosphere was pretty dated and menus were crusty 😬
Good food, but terrible service. Tried calling way before 7:30, then they finally answered right after 7:30 and told us “Sorry, we close at 7:30”. We called multiple times before 7:30 and they didn’t answer. We consistently called for about 15 minutes until they answered after they closes. She proceeded to laugh when I told her we tried calling before 7:30. She also complained to other people in the background about us not completely having our order ready when we called earlier in the day. She was extremely rude
Food seems downhill from past experiences. Still good food, but portion seems smaller, cut corners in other areas.
